About Me
Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to look at my website and learn more about my passion. While my passion for dance and serving others makes me a strong dance teacher, I also hold meaningful credentials that reflect the incredible people and places that have taught me far more than I could ever deserve—and for that, I am truly grateful. I graduated this May from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus in Dance Science. I have been dancing for 21 years now. Throughout my dance career, I’ve had the honor of growing both as a performer and a leader. I served as a member and captain of the Cy Woods Crimson Cadettes, where I first discovered the power of dedication and teamwork. More recently, I spent my sophomore and junior year of college as a member of the Texas A&M Aggie Dance Team, competing at the collegiate level. There, I had the privilege of learning from some of the most inspiring teachers and choreographers—mentors who shaped me in ways I’ll carry with me forever. I am currently on contest and dance staff for Ascension Dance, so you might find me announcing you this upcoming contest season! Lastly, I have been a dance instructor at Suzanne's School of Dance in College Station this year, teaching 11 classes a week. My classes consisted of dancers ages 5-18 in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and Acrodance styles. I have also choreographed dances for numerous middle and high schools, as well as judged officer and team tryouts. All of my experiences have developed my love for dance, and specifically teaching young dancers.
